NTNU Video Collection

This folder contains videos of photos that can be used to determine the specific charge of the electron. The set-up used is Leybold Didactics (https://www.ld-didactic.de/documents/en-US/EXP/P/P6/P6131_e.pdf). The photos is taken by a standart digital camera with ISO locked to 800, in order to get sufficient resoultion. Exposure time was allowed to change, i.e. dark photos had an exposure time of 2". The camera was mounted on a tripod to assure stable conditions. Note that there are distortions due to the shape of the tube for large radii. Use circle fitter as a measuring tool to determine the radii. All information is given i the first frames. Voltage is shown on the left multimeter and current on the right. The range of voltage is 100-325V and current 1.0-1.75 A due to limitations in max. coil currents.
